1. What we collect

When you use unranked, we collect:

  • Account data: email address and name (provided at signup or via Google OAuth).
  • Project data: domains you add, keywords tracked, audit results, and content briefs generated.
  • Google Search Console data: if you connect GSC, we access search performance data (queries, impressions, clicks, positions) for your verified properties. We store an OAuth refresh token to maintain this connection.
  • Usage data: page views, clicks, and Core Web Vitals via our analytics provider to improve the product.
  • Payment data: handled entirely by Polar (our payment processor). We do not store credit card numbers.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the rank tracking, keyword discovery, and audit services.
  • To send weekly rank reports and email alerts (if enabled).
  • To improve the product based on aggregated usage patterns.
  • To communicate service updates or changes to your account.

3. Third-party services

We share data with these providers as needed to operate:

  • Polar — payment processing and subscription management.
  • DataForSEO — SERP data, competitor analysis, and backlink monitoring.
  • Google APIs — Search Console data and PageSpeed Insights.
  • Vident — anonymized product analytics (page views, clicks, Core Web Vitals).
  • Anthropic — AI content analysis, draft generation, and keyword relevance filtering. We send your domain, keywords, and public SERP data to Anthropic's Claude API. No personal information is sent.

We do not sell your data to anyone.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in a secure database hosted in the EU. Authentication sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. We use HTTPS for all connections.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session cookies). Our analytics provider may set a cookie or use sessionStorage to track anonymous sessions. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

You can:

  • Export your data from the dashboard (CSV export on Growth and Pro plans).
  • Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@unranked.io.
  • Disconnect Google Search Console at any time from your settings.
  • Request a copy of your personal data by emailing support@unranked.io.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is kept for 30 days in case you resubscribe, then permanently deleted.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
